Linchpin Theory- Domino Principle (Introduction)

Initially this theory was introduced by Seth Godin. According to Seth Godin's Linchpin, is a business theory that basically states if you become an indispensable member of the organization you work for (ie a 'linchpin'), you will have a less chance of being fired. Seth Godin describes a Linchpin as somebody in an organization who is indispensable - who simply cannot be replaced because their role is just far too unique and valuable.

In later days this term is utilized for the Military Defenses and Offenses. The term used is 'Linchpin' or "Domino" Theory. A theory that one event will set off a train of similar events. This can also be called as "Falling Domino" Principle You have a row of dominoes set up, you knock over the first one, and what will happen to the last one is the certainty that it will go over very quickly. So you could have a beginning of a disintegration that would have the most profound influences. This is used by Intelligence agencies in order to control crises and to avoid destruction.
can say is that at the end of such plot there are many outcomes which can be predicted before even launching the linchpin.
In short, there are people who are brilliant enough to design mathematical bases predictable models for agencies which can broad enough to change global political, economical, social and health changes in many ways, it can be used for in both constructive and destructive proposes. In cases of intellectual operations, this theory is used to make occur a small event which would trigger a larger event. Its like to notch over one domino, which should be the right one, the rest would fall.

Its Applications have been used in various aspects since 1945.
Resent one is: (Reference for ironies of the same theory)
Some foreign policy analysts in the United States have referred to the potential spread of both Islamic theocracy and liberal democracy in the Middle East as two different possibilities for a domino theory. During the Iran-Iraq war the United States and other western nations supported Iraq, fearing the spread of Iran's radical theocracy throughout the region. In the 2003 invasion of Iraq, conservatives argued that by invading Iraq a democratic government could be implemented, which would then help spread democracy and liberalism across the Middle East; this has often been referred to as a "reverse domino theory"

  1. Would you care to elaborate on the military strategy; that one insignificant event can have catastrophic consequences.
    Thoroughly enjoyed this article.

    1. Thank Q :)

Yeah sure, its indeed used in various strategical plans, etc. But as u quoted "one insignificant event can have catastrophic consequences", its infact not much of an insignificant event, its naturally related to it, that too directly, but cant be realized my a normal mind.
Well, its more like a 'check and mate' of a chess, there is no way to escape when such an thing is preplaned, lik in military strategies, ppl use some as bait, sometimes whn an operation is compromised; they plan to erase any evidence, lik these.

  3. Its interesting that many politicians, think tankists, international bankers, intellectuals, upper military strategists, CEOs and rich elitists align themselves with this linchpin actions, feeling it is brilliant but in reality is simply devious, loveless and extremely selfish and that is the core of the socialist thought. I feel it comes from individuals who are very ab berated and troubled. Of course these entities always seek out similar mindsets. They all have one core problem. They all have a very deep sense of unlove of their selves which is then projected on to all of there interconnections and thus on to the rest of the world entities. I feel if we as peoples of the world would love ourselves more and more then this deep sense of respect, compassion and service to one another would come about easily thus not creating all of these engineered insidious atrocities, like wars throughout the world. We could move on in growing in greater love and prosperity for all. Our creativity would be unlimited in technology, love of each other and unlimited happiness. No one would never think or feel unloved and thus impossible to create such low vibrations.

  5. Yeah I have known people who are good at diabolic plans and knowing the outcome of each event. But its good when they use them in developmental and constructive purposes.
